Ahhhh, Christmas.
Not a bad Christmas. Got some good gifts. My parents bought me the digital camera I've been wanting, so I'm pretty excited about that. Perhaps I'll be posting some mediocre photography in the future.
My family got together at my uncle's house on Lake Waukomis. That place is quite possibly KC's best kept secret. I mean, I've lived down the street from it my entire life and had no idea it existed. Who knew there was a goddam lake there?
Anyway. I think there's a good chance I'm going to develop some sort of mental illness. Actually, if I went to a shrink, I'm sure they'd find something to diagnose me with. Any member of my family is on antidepressants by the time they're 25. My cousin and her husband got on Zoloft two weeks ago. And the difference between when I saw them at Thanksgiving and today is stunning. A month ago, they were two of the most lively and funny people I knew. Today, they were pretty much lifeless. My cousin fell asleep during dinner.
So, I'm becoming a Scientologist.
